Vermicomposting
Worms! We love our worms!
We are now in our fourth year of vermicomposting for our restaurant and company lunches; and it's been great. We have been able to divert almost all of our food waste from traditional waste streams, though there are a few exceptions.
Things we can't vermicompost:
Other than that, though, things are going smoothly. In fact, we struggle to figure out what to do with all of the compost! One thing is we help increase the biodiversity of Bondegaard by varying the nutrient load in different regions of the grounds.
We also use it for our many potted plants around the meadery.

- Used Oil
