Company Lunch Program
Bringing Feasting back to the world is our company mission. In fact, we run an entire program called Join the Feast.
At the heart of the Feast is eating together. While everyone pulling out a brown bag lunch is a good start, we also realized that cooking for others is a way of fostering stronger connections.
So, in the summer of 2019, we began the Company Lunch Program where people can sign up to cook for the whole staff. We then provide the employee with money to go get groceries. From May to October, we purchase almost all of our ingredients from the two Saint Albans farmers markets, also helping us meet our goal of supporting our local, sustainable economy.
It can be challenging to make a dish that appeals to everyone and meets everyone's dietary needs, but the process is what helps bring us together; it's a big part of the reason that we feel comfortable calling ourselves a Work Family.
